Sharon and Brandon start a new series about the Tao Te Ching, where they will read and over share commentary on this ancient manuscript. In this episode they discuss what inspired this series, and then they read and comment on a few opening statements of the translations they will use throughout the series. There was only time to read from versions by Stephen Mitchell, Dwight Goddard, and Aleister Crowley, but Stan Rosenthal's, which contains the longest and most in-depth introduction, is linked in the description, along with the others.
